It all starts on Black Friday. What better way to get sucked into the Christmas spirit than standing in line at Target for 4 hours in the freezing cold, 50 yard dashing to the cheap TV's, battling hundreds of people packed into stores like sardines, and not even sleeping because now Walmart has this bright idea of starting its deals at midnight...
Then there is decorations...Christmas lights, some extremely tacky, some extremely tasteful...some just so hideous you can't help but stare. Oh and don't forget those blow up decorations..
My mom has this special way of decorating their house..Full of snowmen and garland, lights and candles...normally smells like evergreen trees or baked apple pie....ahhh, amazing..
And snow...No worries this year in Minnesota. There is enough snow to go around....and around...and around...and apparently more coming on Christmas.
But with snow comes bad roads, and with bad roads come BAD DRIVERS. I mean really...how many years have you lived in Minnesota? Drive like it then...We should all be familiar with blowing snow and roads we could ice skate on...so start acting like it okay?!?! If you are going to drive 10 miles an hour, just stay home, and if you are going to drive 80....well when I pass you and laugh because you are stuck in the ditch...hehe I won....
This year a bunch of us rocked out an ugly sweater party as well...
The best part is Christmas isn't over yet, and the are many good times yet to come!Have a great holiday season!
